A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Speech Language Pathologist | Part-Time | Onsite Position Details August 2026 - November 2026(MAT Leave) 35 Hours/weekdays Up to $55/hr depending on experience(Paid weekly) Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-4th grade students Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school professionals to create positive outcomes Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes according to district and program standards Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for each student Provide evidence-based intervention in individual and group settings Are you who we're looking for? Qualifications Active speech-language pathologist license in Michigan required Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong knowledge of best practices for elementary caseloads Excellent organizational and communication skills If this sounds like you, we would love to meet you!
