Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a significant impact in educational settings. This full-time, contract position spans the entire school year and offers the chance to work with a diverse student population near the Lake Orion, MI area. Whether you are experienced in teletherapy, working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or hold your CCC, your skills will help students reach their full communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply Experience within school-based or teletherapy settings valued Strong knowledge of conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and virtual SLP services to students in grades K-12 Conduct evaluations and analyze results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document all services provided and track student milestones in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Support students in achieving speech, language, and communication goals throughout the academic year Enjoy the stability of a full school-year role with flexibility and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills in a dynamic educational environment.
