Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting PreK through 3rd grade students. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech services, and covers a maternity leave from September 28 to December 18, 2026.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly PreK-3rd grade Strong understanding of school-based SLP practices and procedures Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in PreK to 3rd grade Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and staff Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment conducive to student growth Provide consultation to educators regarding language, articulation, and communication strategies
