Job DescriptionContingent
Prefer at least 3 years' experience in hospital setting. Must be out of residency. Require knowledge of swallow studies with radiology.
Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language therapy.
Educates and counsels patient and family regarding treatment plans.
Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services.
Provides information regarding appropriate support programs.
Qualifications
One year of experience in a clinical setting required.

- Day Shift
- Weekday & Rotating Weekends at Providence RochesterDay Shift-7:00a-3:30p (some flexibility
- covering Acute Care, IPR & Outpatient; covering for vacations, holidays & high volume + weekend on-call, once every 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:
Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.Educates and counsels patient and family regarding treatment plans.
Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services.
Provides information regarding appropriate support programs.
Qualifications
DUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program;Successful completion of the National Praxis Examination;Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.One year of experience in a clinical setting required.
