Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a middle school caseload in Romulus, MI. This position focuses on providing specialized speech and language support in a school setting, working closely with students to enhance their communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress. Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student performance. Provide therapy services aligned with current school year (CSY) schedules, supporting a caseload of approximately 26-27 students.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license. Experience working with middle school-aged students in a school environment. Strong understanding of educational speech-language pathology practices. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
