Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting near Roseville, MI. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering communication skills and making a positive impact on young learners' lives. With a flexible commitment from mid-October through mid-January, you'll play an essential role during a key period in the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current or pending license in Speech-Language Pathology Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates Experience or coursework in school-based speech therapy Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, staff, and parents Ability to develop engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs Familiarity with required documentation and progress tracking for special education
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify student communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students Collaborate with educational teams to support academic and social development Provide progress updates and maintain accurate records as required by school guidelines Communicate with families and stakeholders to maximize each student's success This contract position offers the opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience and to make a lasting difference for students in a supportive environment.
