Job Description

Step into an impactful Speech-Language Pathologist role serving diverse K-12 students in a supportive educational setting near Spring Lake, MI. This onsite opportunity provides a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with staff and positively influence students communication skills, from now through June 2027. Whether you have your Certificate of Clinical Competence or are a Clinical Fellow seeking supervision, this position ensures professional growth and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by LARA Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred; open to CFY candidatessupervision available Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for K-12 students Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Deliver direct therapy services onsite, supporting student success in academic and social settings Remain current with best practices and compliance requirements within school speech pathology This contract position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build meaningful connections over a multi-year assignment.
