Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract If you are a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a dynamic, contract-based opportunity, this role offers an exciting chance to make a significant difference in multiple educational settings. Starting immediately and extending through June 16, 2027, you'll provide invaluable support across various schools near Sterling Heights, MI, addressing caseload overages and evaluations rather than working within a single site. Qualified candidates should bring:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Michigan Current or eligibility for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong background in conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments Experience supporting K-12 student populations preferred Flexibility to travel to different school buildings as needed Strong collaboration and communication skills Duties will include: Providing speech-language support to multiple schools with high caseloads Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations of students' speech and language needs Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state requirements Offering targeted interventions to help students develop vital communication skills Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure appropriate services and accommodations This contract assignment offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work within varied school environments—ideal for SLPs who thrive on new challenges and the chance to foster impact across different teams.
