Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist this upcoming academic year. This contract position runs from August 25 through June 18 and offers the chance to make a genuine impact by providing vital speech and language services in a vibrant, school-based setting. Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Michigan licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse student population Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams and families

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and related disorders Maintain a caseload of roughly 50-60 elementary students, with flexibility for increases Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs Track student progress through thorough documentation and regular evaluations Partner closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to support student success Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process through outreach and regular updates
