9657844-48310 Job Description Empower young learners and contribute to their communication success in a dynamic elementary school setting. This contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist offers the chance to work onsite with a supportive team and dedicated student caseload in a vibrant educational environment near Sterling Heights, MI.
Key Qualifications:
Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 30-40 elementary students, addressing IEP goals and supporting overall academic success Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students with speech and language needs Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with IEP requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and consultations with teachers and parents Provide input and support for classroom teachers in implementing communication strategies into daily instruction This position offers a stable, long-term contract with consistent hours32.5 per weekthrough June 18, 2027.
