Job Description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a dynamic learning environment. This onsite role offers the chance to make a real difference, working directly with a caseload of 30-40 young learners requiring speech-language services. Successful candidates will bring strong clinical skills, a collaborative spirit, and experience in school-based SLP settings. This assignment provides the chance to further develop your expertise while working through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
What were looking for:
Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred Background in elementary school caseloads and school-based service delivery Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective interventions for a diverse student population Strong communication and documentation abilities Commitment to working onsite and engaging with students, staff, and families Role expectations: Provide comprehensive SLP services, including assessment, intervention, and consultation for an elementary caseload (30-40 students) Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records and required documentation in line with school, state, and federal guidelines Support a positive, inclusive learning environment, fostering student growth and communication development Remain current with best practices in speech-language pathology and school-based services If youre passionate about making an impact in the school community and bringing your expertise to elementary-age learners, this is the perfect fit.
