Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school settings is needed for a contract position supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services. This role is based in Tecumseh, MI, and focuses on providing speech therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students during the ESY period Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a variety of speech and language disorders Utilize AAC devices effectively to support communication for students with complex needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district requirements Participate in progress monitoring and therapy adjustments as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for school settings (SLP, SLP-CCC, or CFY) Experience working within schools, particularly with pediatric populations across K-12 Familiarity and proficiency with AAC devices and technology essential for supporting students with communication challenges Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to work independently within a contract role setting
