Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students' communication development! We're searching for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to join a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is based near Warren, MI. Preference is given to professionals available for onsite work, but qualified candidates interested in virtual or hybrid arrangements will also be considered. Full and part-time schedules are available, with school site assignments currently being finalized.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Current state licensure or eligibility Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Technological proficiency for documentation and, if needed, teletherapy sessions
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver therapy services directly tailored to students' needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation Consult on best practices to support student success both in the classroom and via virtual platforms if applicable
