e2036-48197 Job Description Make a real difference in a supportive school community near Ypsilanti, Michigan, as a dedicated speech-language pathologist. This is a contract, full-time opportunity for the 20262027 school year, offering the chance to work with students across kindergarten through twelfth grade. With flexibility in caseload assignment based on your strengths and preferences, youll play a key role in shaping student success while expanding your own professional horizons. Candidates sought for this opportunity should bring experience and passion for working with pediatric populationsranging from early childhood to elementary grades. The caseload spans a variety of needs from moderate to profound, allowing you to build strong connections and lasting impact. Both experienced SLPs and those newer to school-based practice are encouraged to apply; your skills will be matched to the setting that best fits your strengths.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year eligibility Valid Michigan SLP license (or willingness to obtain) Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for pediatric speech and language disorders Previous experience in early childhood or K12 schools highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K12 Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators and families to support student growth Document services and monitor student progress Enjoy competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $60 per hour, paid weekly.
