Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or pending Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or progress toward completion Eligibility for Michigan state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous pediatric experience or enthusiasm for working with children in a school environment Strong organizational and communication abilities Compassion, adaptability, and dedication to supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each childs unique needs Deliver therapy services in one-on-one or small group settings, addressing articulation, fluency, language, and more Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Contribute to IEP meetings and consult with teachers to facilitate classroom carryover Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
