9652299-48197 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students by providing speech and language services in a supportive school environment near Ypsilanti, MI. We are seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to fill immediate needs: one to cover a pre-kindergarten maternity leave and another to work with elementary students (grades K6) managing a caseload of approximately 55 students. Both positions run on a contract basis, offering engaging opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and help students develop vital communication skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school-based setting, including work with PreK and/or K6 populations preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans to fit a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments of students speech-language needs Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) tailored to each student Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel to support student academic and social success Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Enjoy a dynamic work environment that values your expertise and dedication to student growth.
