Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs will be considered Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessment protocols, and successful intervention strategies Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teaching staff and families Deliver therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders in both individual and group settings Maintain thorough documentation and case notes in accordance with school policies and professional standards Participate actively in IEP meetings and support the team with progress updates and recommendations Serve as a resource for educators and parents regarding strategies to support speech and language development within the classroom
