Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting young learners from birth to age five in a contract Speech-Language Pathologist role focused on both home and preschool-based settings. This position near Big Lake, MN, offers a unique opportunity to work directly with children and families, fostering early communication skills where they're needed most. Through a blend of teletherapy and in-person visits, you'll help provide essential services that set the foundation for lifelong learning.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC-SLP certification Skilled background working with children ages birth through five Experience with school and home-based settings, with knowledge of early childhood development Ability to deliver therapy via multiple modalities, including teletherapy Effective communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams and families Familiarity with documentation requirements within the educational/early intervention system
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized therapy to children from birth to age five in both home and preschool environments Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to ensure continuity of services Collaborate closely with caregivers, teachers, and allied professionals to maximize outcomes Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in accordance with school or agency requirements Participate in team meetings and help educate families on strategies to support their child's communication growth In this flexible, contract-based role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the communication skills and confidence of the youngest learners, helping them reach new milestones.
