Qualifications:
Current, active Minnesota SLP license required Prior experience working in school settings is highly preferred Comfortable engaging with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Ability to approach challenges with creativity and a student-centered mindset Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs Provide direct and consultative therapy services for students with a range of communication disorders Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, eligibility determinations, and professional development activities This is a contract opportunity designed for motivated professionals who want to make a noticeable difference both inside and outside the classroom.
