Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8 students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers a flexible teletherapy model, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and language development—while maintaining work-life balance. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will run through June 12, 2026, serving a dedicated caseload of seven students at a single location.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions virtually for K-8 students, focusing on individualized needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and execute effective IEPs for each student. Provide progress updates, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust therapy plans as needed. Utilize best practices in teletherapy to engage students and foster their growth. Schedule and complete approximately 5-8 hours of therapy sessions each week, in line with recommended service frequencies.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent credentials. Prior experience with K-8 school populations and teletherapy platforms is highly valued. Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills. Ability to manage a small caseload with consistency, compassion, and professionalism. This contract role offers a competitive pay range of $54-$60 per hour, ensuring your expertise is valued.
