Description:
Speech/Lang Pathologist 26-27 school year Start date: 8.24.26 184 days/year Location - TBD $52,071-$100,025 depending on experience and education
Job Summary:
Provide screening, assessment and program development and speech services to special education students, birth to 21. Consult with parents, teachers and assistants as to programming for students in need of speech / language services
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide speech and language services to children. Provide case management for students. Assess students to determine eligibility for services. Maintains appropriate student records of services provided. Maintain necessary documentation for third party billing Provide parents with intervention ideas. Work with other agencies as needed to meet students needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Participates in staffing and other school meetings.
Qualifications:
Masters degree and license as a Speech Clinician Possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver's License. Knowledge of the developmental sequences for children. Knowledge of how to use standardized assessment tools. Knowledge of Special Education Due Process procedures. The ability to work with students, staff and parents in a variety of environments. Ability to use a computer
