Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing school-based speech-language therapy services to K-5 students over the course of the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work full-time in a supportive educational setting, guiding young learners toward improved communication skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you will provide direct SLP services to an elementary caseload of approximately 57 students, participate in IEP meetings, manage due process paperwork, and oversee a Tier 2 SLP at a secondary campus. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while engaging with passionate educators and committed support staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure for SLP practice Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting with K-5 population preferred Familiarity with IEP development, progress reporting, and documentation Leadership skills or supervisory experience valued for Tier 2 SLP mentorship Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct SLP services, targeting individualized student goals Conduct assessments and contribute to developing student IEPs Attend and provide input at IEP meetings with families and interdisciplinary staff Complete due process and compliance-related documentation Supervise and support a Tier 2 SLP at the secondary campus Experience the fulfillment of supporting children's communication growth in an educational environment over the course of a full academic year.
