Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting elementary students with high needs in a dynamic educational environment. A talented Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an onsite contract opportunity, serving a diverse and inspiring caseload throughout the Extended School Year session. This is a full-time position (30 hours per week) running from June 1 to June 30, with June 19th observed as a holiday. Applicants must hold a valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), with experience in a school-based setting considered highly desirable. Comfort and skill in working with high-needs elementary students will set you up for success, as will strong collaborative communication and a genuine passion for helping every child find their voice.
Qualifications:
Active SLP licensure and CCC required School-based SLP experience preferred Ability to work onsite daily Strength in supporting high-needs elementary students Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students in alignment with IEP goals Complete assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions This contract position offers the opportunity to widen your impact during the summer months, all while utilizing your professional expertise in a supportive school setting.
