Key Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (State of Missouri or eligibility by start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience providing speech and language services in K-12 school environments strongly preferred Expertise working with students who have a range of communication needs, including those in specialized classroom settings Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students in specialized classrooms (ESC and BEST) at the high school level, supporting approximately 11 students Provide overflow support at the middle school and potentially one additional district location Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with special education teams, general education teachers, and families to promote student success Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Work a consistent full-time schedule, 9:00am - 4:40pm, Monday through Friday This position promises meaningful engagement with a supportive educational staff, diverse caseloads, and the daily reward of making a difference in students' lives.
