Job Description

Make a significant impact on students' communication skills in a vibrant school community near Liberty, MO for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to engage with learners across multiple grade levels while collaborating with dynamic educators. As a key speech-language pathologist, you'll primarily support specialized classrooms (ESC and BEST) at Liberty High School, providing essential therapy to approximately 11 students. Additionally, you'll offer "overflow" speech services at Heritage Middle School and potentially an additional campus within the district. Your weekly schedule includes three days at the high school and two days at other assigned sites, all within supportive, welcoming environments.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience supporting school-aged children with diverse communication needs Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work across multiple school sites and flexibly manage schedules Detail-oriented with thorough documentation and progress-reporting abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy in individual and group settings Design and implement IEP-driven interventions tailored to each student's needs Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (educators, parents, and support staff) Monitor and record student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Support a positive and inclusive school culture, advocating for communication access
