Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students by providing speech-language services in a supportive and dynamic school environment. Professionals with a passion for communication sciences will appreciate this contract opportunity, based on site near Ballwin, MO, serving Lemasters Elementary and potentially assisting at another nearby school. Youll work with a diverse caseload, including many non-verbal students who utilize AAC devices, and be a vital resource for both students and colleagues as therapeutic needs evolve throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required Experience with AAC devices and supporting non-verbal students preferred Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing district needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Must complete required district fingerprinting and technology forms prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload accounting for approximately 3,400 service minutes Work primarily at Lemasters Elementary, with possible support at an additional campus as needs arise Create individualized and group therapy sessions, targeting communication goals set by student IEPs Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement best practices for language development Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
