9649093-63021 Job Description Make an immediate impact by supporting K-12 students with their educational development and well-being as a school psychologist in a contract role. This on-site position provides the opportunity to work closely with young learners, families, and educators during the school year, making a difference where its needed most.
Key Qualifications:
Active Missouri Department of Education certification in School Psychology required Experience conducting special education evaluations and Child Find processes Ability to manage a caseload averaging 8-10 cases concurrently, with approximately 32 evaluations annually Strong collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families Must be able to complete district-required fingerprinting and submit TCN number Willingness to complete and submit required technology forms Experience in K-12 settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide psychological assessments and special education evaluations for K-12 students Support Child Find initiatives to help identify students needing services Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop effective support plans Serve as a resource for the school community, offering expertise in behavioral and learning challenges Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Adapt to an assigned caseload across likely two schools within the district Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
