A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans Provide speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia therapy Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation staff Educate residents and families on therapy goals and recommendations
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred SNF experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
