Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year, located in Union, Mississippi. This role offers the chance to provide vital speech and language support to students within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with school policies. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting discussions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-aged children preferred. Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
