We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them improve their communication and swallowing abilities. This role requires a professional who is patient-focused, adaptable, and skilled in developing individualized treatment plans.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a home health setting. Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Required Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Benefits:
