Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in the lives of children as a School Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary and middle school students. This contract position, located near Apex and Raleigh, NC, is perfect for those passionate about pediatric speech therapy and ready to start as soon as possible for a backfill role. Enjoy a manageable caseload of around 30 students, with support and resources at your fingertips. You'll have a dedicated therapy room and access to materials, enabling you to focus on providing high-quality care. The role is part-time (25-30 hours per week), with flexibility to add more hours as necessary, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking adaptable schedules.
Key Qualifications:
Valid CCC-SLP or CFY credential Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings Expertise in assessment and intervention for elementary and middle school students Familiarity with the ECATS system Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a dedicated caseload of elementary and middle school students Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Track progress and document notes using the ECATS system Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and family members Participate in student support meetings and contribute to a positive school environment You'll receive competitive hourly compensation ranging from $42 to $52, depending on experience and qualifications.
