Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) in North Carolina Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations, especially in early childhood or elementary settings Strong commitment to fostering communication skills and academic achievement Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to tailor approaches for diverse caseloads and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in K12 Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations Adapt communication strategies for students with varying abilities
