Embrace a rewarding opportunity as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students across multiple schools in the vibrant Durham, NC area. In this itinerant contract position, youll play a pivotal role in helping Spanish-speaking children reach their communication potential. With the flexibility to choose a part-time (approx. 27 hours/3.5 days per week) or full-time schedule, this role is tailor-made for professionals who value work-life balance and are enthusiastic about making a real difference.
What Youll Do:
Deliver bilingual speech-language evaluations, diagnostics, and personalized therapy for Spanish-speaking students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that are culturally and linguistically responsive Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and administration Utilize designated indirect hours for paperwork, planning, and virtual meetings Travel efficiently between assigned campusesyour travel time during the workday is fully compensated
What You Bring:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid/eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Fluent in both Spanish and English (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; SLP-CFY candidates welcome Ability to obtain standard background and fingerprint clearance prior to start Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings is highly valued
