7681305-27519 Job Description Embark on a meaningful journey making a difference in middle and high school students lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving downtown area. This full-time, onsite contract position places you in the energy of a vibrant community, working closely with students to support their communication and academic success during the school day from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Clinical Fellows are welcome and will receive mentorship as they grow and refine their practice.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) SLPs Passion for working with adolescents in educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff Ability to manage a caseload and documentation within a busy school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and communication needs Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards Consult with teachers and families to foster generalization of skills across settings Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school climate Experience the excitement of serving in the heart of the city, where your expertise can shine and create lasting impact.
