Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license or eligibility in North Carolina CCC-SLP and CFY candidates welcome Previous school-based experience highly valued Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and faculty Passion for fostering student progress and enthusiasm for diverse caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs Write and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals alongside multidisciplinary teams Monitor student progress and keep accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students learning and generalization of skills within the classroom Engage in consultations and attend staff meetings as needed throughout the school year This contract offers you the stability of a full academic year schedule at 37.5 hours per week.
