Desired Experience & Credentials:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current North Carolina State Licensure or eligibility Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school-based setting Previous experience developing and carrying out Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians with solid pediatric experience Comfort with both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) service models
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students, individually and in groups Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication needs Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation for therapy and compliance Involve families, teachers, and other staff in supporting students progress Utilize digital tools and platforms effectively, if providing teletherapy This position features competitive pay along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
