What You Bring:

Active North Carolina SLP License, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience delivering speech and language services within a school environment Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing IEPs for students with speech, language, and communication needs Strong written and verbal communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to maintain thorough, accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines Passion for making a difference in the educational journey of children

Your Role:

Provide direct and consultative SLP services to a diverse caseload of students Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; interpret results to shape collaborative IEPs and intervention plans Maintain consistent communication with teachers, families, and school staff to optimize services Monitor student progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, student-centered school culture Uphold professional, ethical, and legal standards of SLP practice This contract position averages 30 hours weekly (up to 37.5 according to district needs), ensuring a consistent, meaningful workload.
