Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a real difference in educational outcomes! This full-time position runs through June 4, 2027, offering Monday to Friday shifts at 37.5 hours per week. You'll have the chance to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic school environment, working with a diverse student population. Your caseload will be determined according to your experience, allowing you to leverage your strengths and provide tailored intervention.

Desired Qualifications:

Active North Carolina SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with assistive listening technology Willingness and eligibility to supervise an SLPA if needed Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Flexibility with caseload assignments as determined by school leadership

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing assessments Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals Provide direct and consultative services as outlined in IEPs Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements Supervise and mentor an SLPA (if applicable), ensuring fidelity of service delivery Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions You'll have the autonomy to use your specialized skills, while enjoying consistent work hours during the academic year.
