In this dynamic position, youll work primarily with elementary students, with the possibility of supporting varying age groups based on your experience and preferences. This full-time assignment runs from ASAP through June 4, 2027, offering a stable and meaningful role within an educational setting. Youll play a critical role in empowering students by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders and collaborating closely with teachers and families. There is also the potential to supervise an SLPA, so candidates must be willing and ready to provide guidance and support to less experienced professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active North Carolina SLP license required CCC-SLP certification preferred Experience with pediatric populations in school settings Skilled in utilizing assistive listening technology Must be comfortable supervising an SLPA if needed Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, and communication difficulties Develop and implement individualized treatment and therapy plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff Maintain accurate student records and progress reports Provide supervision and mentorship to an SLPA as needed Adapt resources and techniques for various age groups and needs This role offers a consistent weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, with 37.5 hours per week for optimal work-life balance.
