Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a direct impact on students' communication skills by bringing your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a supportive school environment. This rewarding contract opportunity invites you to work closely with students, educators, and families, supporting communication needs and fostering student success.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting valued Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Excellent communication and organizational abilities Team-driven attitude, with an ability to collaborate with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor student progress, maintain clear documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and caregivers to ensure holistic support Offer guidance and relevant resources to families and staff
