Speech-Language Pathologist Up to $55/hour | Jacksonville, NC | Full-Time | 2026-2027
School Year Position Details:
Full Time - for 2026-2027 School Year 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday schedule About the Role Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Jacksonville , NC . You'll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $55/hour) + flexible full-time or part-time schedules W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits• + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You'll Do Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed What We're Looking For Valid North Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain) North Carolina Education License from NCDPI (eligible once have State SLP License) Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
