9688956-28645 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students ranging from PreK to 8th grade. This role, extending from ASAP through May 2027, offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week while supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 35-40 students. Youll play a pivotal role in students communication development within a supportive educational setting, making a lasting impact during these critical years.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Eligibility for North Carolina state licensure Previous experience working in school settings preferred Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to students individual needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a PreK-8th grade caseload Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports for each student Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support students academic and social development Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student outcomes Provide guidance and resources for classroom accommodations and effective communication strategies
