9644701-28645 Job Description Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving PreK-8th grade students as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role spans from ASAP through May 2027 and allows you to make a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload of around 35-40 students. You'll work a steady 37.5 hours per week in a supportive educational setting near Lenoir, NC. Bring your skills and expertise to a collaborative school environment where you'll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication abilities. Your focus will be on delivering quality, evidence-based therapy while working closely with teachers, families, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in a school setting, especially with PreK-8th students (preferred) Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students goals Document student progress and maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed Enjoy the benefits of working in a stable contract position with predictable hours, the chance to work with a diverse student population, and the support of a dedicated educational team.
