Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging school-based setting on a contract basis. Utilize your skills and certifications to support students ranging from elementary through high school, working both in group environments and providing targeted 1:1 services. This role offers a chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, foster strong relationships within school communities, and witness the growth and success of diverse learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Demonstrated experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Ability to provide direct therapy (individual and group) and comprehensive evaluations Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Collaborative mindset for partnering with teachers, families, and other school professionals
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational staff or families Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student's needs in 1:1 and group formats Regularly update IEPs, track student progress, and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support student goals Serve as a resource and advocate for communication strategies throughout the school environment Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
