Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school in the Lillington, NC area. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering you the chance to develop valuable experience in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current and active North Carolina SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered Previous school-based experience strongly recommended Strong knowledge of IEP process, assessment, and interventions with school-aged children Excellent communication and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech/language therapy services to elementary-aged students in individual and small-group settings Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and school administration Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team conferences Consult with staff and parents regarding strategies for communication success Remain onsite throughout contract (no virtual assignments) Why Choose This Opportunity?
