Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a caring and enthusiastic Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a meaningful impact on Spanish-speaking students in an educational setting. This contract role offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule (approximately 27 hours over 3.5 days per week), with a full-time option available for those seeking additional hours. Travel professionals, as well as local candidates, are welcome to apply for an immediate start through June 9, 2027. In this dynamic, itinerant position, youll support students in multiple schools throughout the area, providing speech and language services that are both culturally and linguistically responsive. Your work will combine direct therapy, comprehensive evaluations, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of educators and family members.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state licensure as an SLP (or the ability to obtain it before starting) Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish CCC-SLP preferred, but clinical fellows are encouraged to apply Willingness to complete standard background clearance procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language intervention and evaluations to diverse student populations Develop and monitor IEPs, tailoring interventions to student needs Participate in team meetings and consult with staff and families Utilize compensated indirect and collaborative time for planning and documentation Travel between school sites during the workday (with compensated travel time) Why Consider This Role?
