Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Position SummaryWe are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to improve communication and functional skills.
Responsibilities Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Recommend appropriate communication or swallowing strategies and equipment. Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on applicable requirements. Clinical experience in speech, language, or swallowing therapy preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and patient-care skills.
