A fulfilling contract opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to support school-aged students in the North Wilkesboro, NC area. The assignment spans the school year, from August 17th, 2026, to June 4th, 2027, and offers a consistent, part-time schedule of 30 hours per week over four days.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Experience working within school settings is highly desirable Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse communication needs Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational goals Engage in ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
