9672530-27870 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in grades kindergarten through 8th as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time position calls for dedication to student growth across multiple sites near Roanoke Rapids, NC. Youll provide direct SLP services to a small caseload, two times a week, supporting six current students throughout the full school year. In addition to ongoing therapy, your expertise will be essential for initial assessments and testing of four incoming students, ensuring proper support is established from the start.

Desired Qualifications:

Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Possess a valid, current state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (NC eligibility required) Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred Proficient in conducting formal and informal speech and language assessments Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to students in grades K-8, adjusting strategies for developmental needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for new students, providing meaningful recommendations Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education program (IEP) goals Document therapy activities and maintain required records in compliance with school policies Travel between multiple school sites as needed to ensure consistent service delivery
