Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a school-based setting near Wilkesboro, NC. This position is dedicated to Speech-Language Pathologists who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and possess expertise in educational environments. You'll provide direct and consultative services, collaborating with educational teams to create positive outcomes for students.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active North Carolina SLP license required SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in school settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for students and staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population Assess, identify, and document speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Offer collaborative consultation to teachers, support staff, and families Maintain thorough clinical records in compliance with district and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and student support initiatives Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices
Position Details:
